The 2025 first session of the UN-Habitat Executive Board 

Nairobi, 20th March 2025 – The 2025 first session of the Executive Board of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) will be held from 25th to 27th March 2025 at the UN-Habitat Headquarters in Nairobi. The Executive Board comprises 36 Member States elected by the UN-Habitat Assembly and convenes three times a year. Kenya is among the 10 elected African Members representing Eastern Africa for the period 2019-2025. The Executive Board is responsible for oversight of UN-Habitat activities and aims to strengthen accountability, transparency and effectiveness.
